When I saw this skin I just fell in love with it straight away, the colours on the face I adore with its different shades of blue and flecks of gold. I pretty much  then what to wear with the skin. The ears I tinted using the hud that comes with them so that they more or less matched the skin.

There’s a new men’s mall in town and its definitely worth taking a look at. A lot of great stores gathered together in one place, I won’t name them all because no doubt I’ll forget someone. But there’s a great collection of men’s clothing and accessories. The place is really well designed, looks great and fits well with the rest of the place.

It’s safe to say I spent far too much. Once I start spending there’s just no holding me back. So head on over to Albero Men’s Mall and go crazy.

This really cool robot avatar is by Winter Ventura and available from her store at Eclectic Randomness, lots of little accessories that you can buy as well to complement the avatar such as different hair types, jet pack, neko tail and feet. There is also a female version as well available to buy. This one I bought is the ‘ER M-Type Robot Avatar’ and I bought the additional ‘ER Robot Hair JAX-N’. The avatar is a full pack including skin, shape, alpha layers and everything you see in the pictures below, except of course for the hair which I bought separately, but it does come with some hair as well.

Quite a few new things I’ve picked up in the last couple of days.

Some may have seen myself over the last couple of months wearing a face tattoo by Hunain Bellic of Huz Tattoo’s, something I really love and enjoy wearing. Well he has released a new tattoo called D’Jango that is equally gorgeous. It comes in two variations, the black version that I’m wearing here and the white version which you can see the lovely Berry wearing over at her blog Strawberry Singh.

Over at Ispachi, Diarmuid Miklos has released a new fantastic range of hair for men and of course I bought a few different versions that you’ll see over the next few weeks.

The Shoe Fair started on the 7th and will be running till the 22nd August. Some great male shoes to pick up like the pair I’m wearing below by Hoorenbeek, lots of great stores to check out there.

One of the great things I love about Avid’s clothing is that with each set you can wear the items in a different number of combinations or mix and match with other clothing and they wouldn’t look out of place. This set called ‘Moonlight’ is gorgeous and I love all the little details, like the flower on the lapel of the jacket. Of course the outfit was just begging to be photographed in some dark twisted possibly dead forest. As I’d been to Alirium yesterday for the first time I knew I had to take it there and see what I could do. Of course with all my shoots I take far too many pictures, I think on this one I had taken 17 different shots and here I’m only showing 4 of them. But the place is gorgeous and worth seeing if you’ve never been before.

‘On the Road’ by Jack Kerouac is one of those books that I read as a teenager that it had a lasting effect on me. I was there on the trains traveling back and forth across the American landscape.

I ended up getting my hands on anything I could get by Jack Kerouac which in turn led me to other beat writers; William Burroughs and Howl by Allen Ginsberg. And Patti Smith’s cover of Howl was like a shaman waking the spirits. Nothing compares to seeing her perform live and I was very fortunate to see her perform live a number of years ago at the home of Virginia Woolf.
