Sadly it is the last day today for Fantasy Faire. I think this year’s faire has been their best so far and it’s certainly been one of the best faire’s I’ve been to in a long time. I think everyone involved from the builders, organisers to the designers who gave items to sell for Relay for Life deserve a huge round of applause for all their hard work over the past week. From messages I’ve seen over the week, the first weekend the faire opened they broke last year’s record for money raised for the organisation, and currently $24,646 US has been raised through the Fantasy Faire this week. Well done to everyone and thank you.

One of my favourite faire’s returns this year on the 21st and I’m very proud and happy to be one of the blogger’s covering this year’s ‘Fantasy Faire’. Doors open on the 21st and will be running till the 29th. Designers are releasing items that have been created especially for the event with money going to the charity Relay for Life.

‘Fashion for Life’ is Second Life’s longest running fashion fair has begun and marks the annual start of the official ‘Relay for Life’ events that take place in Second Life each year. This year there an incredible 10 sims with over 200 stores selling the latest fashions, accessories, hair and unique items made especially for the event. Money raised from the event go directly to the ‘Relay for Life’ general fund which benefits ‘American Cancer Society’ .
